Our Story
Sean began working for his uncle's company, Mac's Painting Service, in 1988, installing and refinishing hardwood flooring and providing residential painting services. Since then, he has worked in various sectors of the construction industry, from time spent with a large masonry company focused on commercial building to a position in a small local contracting firm. After gaining many years of experience, Sean decided to form Valley Crafters with his son, Steele.

Meet the Team
We are a family business, locally owned and operated by father and sons, Sean, Steele, and Chase Dunn.
Our philosophy is simple: we want to be the best, not the biggest, and we want to satisfy every customer we serve. We believe that attention to detail and the commitment to do a job right is of primary concern. We work hard to understand your needs, so that we can deliver the results that you deserve.
We are a full-service construction company with years of experience and expertise. For your peace of mind, we are fully licensed, bonded, and insured.
Sean Dunn
In addition to years of experience in the construction industry, Sean holds a Master's degree from James Madison University. He lives in the Rawley Springs area with his two dogs, Sobi and Zolo.
Steele Dunn
When he's not using his creative energies for Valley Crafters, Steele likes to spend his free time on poetry and music. He lives with his family in Harrisonburg, VA.
Chase Dunn
Chase manages Valley Crafters’ social media presence as well as providing hands-on help. He holds an M.A. in Environmental Communication from James Madison University, and will soon be moving to Phoenix, Arizona to work on a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Human Communication.
